During this program we will discuss Respect for People in the Workplace. This is the type of respect that must be cultivated if you wish to create an environment where all groups can win; where the customer can win, where the management can win, and mostly where all the employees can win. We will define the three levels of respect for people that must be achieved to have a highly engaged workforce that can cooperate and move a business to be not only a world-class business performer, but a business that can create a world-class working environment where all the people can extract job from their work and become the best versions of themselves at work.

After 20 years with Chevron in refinery management, Lonnie Wilson started Quality Consultants to assist those who wish to make a large cultural change, especially in the field of lean manufacturing. Quality Consultants specializes in applying the Toyota "Respect for People" concept, which in leanspeak is workforce engagement. We particularly welcome those firms struggling to make the transformation and those who have tried and were less than successful. Lonnie has authored 6 books in three languages, including both the theory and applications of lean strategies, tactics, and skills. It is a must for anyone in a workplace that has problem-solving responsibilities and continuous improvement activities. We also welcome those who want to learn more about the human condition and the effects of properly addressing the intrinsic needs of the individual....and that includes your children, so parents are really welcome.
