Dolecki brings more than 25 years of experience as an accomplished event professional in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. Prior to joining AME, she held leadership roles that showcased her exceptional skills in planning and executing high-quality events. She served as the director of meeting planning at WJ Weiser & Associates, where she successfully organized medical meetings, and spent over 14 years at Walgreens as an event manager, aligning event strategies with corporate initiatives.

With a bachelor's degree in advertising and design and a passion for lifelong learning, Dolecki continuously seeks opportunities to enhance her expertise, earning certifications and designations that reflect her commitment to excellence in her field.

Dolecki shared her passion for event planning, saying, “I enjoy the event planning field because it allows me to combine creativity, strategy and a passion for bringing people together. I’ve had the privilege of designing events, in various formats, that educate, inspire and engage participants. I thrive on the challenge of crafting purposeful spaces, managing every detail from strategy to logistics, and adapting to the evolving needs of attendees. It’s incredibly rewarding to see events come to life, creating opportunities for connection, learning and impactful experiences. For me, event planning is both a career and a creative outlet that makes a difference.”

On a personal note, Dolecki resides in Crystal Lake, Illinois with her husband and daughter. When not planning exceptional events, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and volunteering at her local food pantry.

Please join me in congratulating Desiree Dolecki on this well-deserved promotion. We are confident that her expertise, leadership and creativity will continue to drive AME’s success in bringing people together to share, learn and grow.
