OVERVIEW

You have some experience with the Improvement Kata and want to know how the Coaching Kata fits.

This is a two-session workshop, March 6 and March 13, that will give you first-hand experience in how the Coaching Kata supports and guides the people actually making improvements, every day. Coaching is the way we develop people, no matter their position or skill set, into scientific thinkers who can achieve tough challenges. The Coaching Kata as described by Mike Rother in his Toyota   Kata books, is a structured and even scripted coaching conversation supported by what we call Starter Kata or templates for your practice. This workshop builds on the February 27th workshop, The Improvement Kata: Learn a Pattern for Real Daily Improvement.  In each of these two workshop sessions, you won't be a kata coach, but you will have an experience to build on. You will know if you want to learn more.
