From the CEO: "OMG I'M 40!!!" - AME

AME | October 28, 2024

I am thrilled that this week, we are all celebrating at the AME 2024 International Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, so my letter will be short.

We’ve been waiting all year to connect in person and celebrate AME's 40th birthday! Hundreds of people have been working diligently for the past two years to host this globally recognized event that brings together diverse participants from around the globe.1,100 people are gathering to hear inspiring keynote speeches from world-renowned thought leaders, discuss pressing global issues, participate in tours, and attend workshops and networking sessions. Attendees are exploring emerging trends and sharing best practices that impact industries and societies. Throughout this conference, we are celebrating our collective achievements, addressing challenges and setting the stage for future growth.

We use this week to celebrate our accomplishments of the past year, connect in person with people we have seen all year on Zoom, hear from subject matter experts from around the world, break bread with colleagues we’ve missed and, yes, have a lot of fun! Attendees share that they leave the conference with fresh perspectives, new professional relationships and actionable ideas to apply in their respective industries.

Happy 40th birthday, AME | Conference chair, Diem Lewis

AME is the go-to organization to share, learn and grow, and we are doing a lot of that this week! It is through our collaboration and dedication that we continue to strengthen our community and make lasting impacts. And we have been doing this well for the last 40 years. I will share more about this exciting week in future letters.
