I was honored to join the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) Monterrey Roundtable Inauguration at the Tecnológico de Monterrey for an exclusive event focused on continuous improvement and nearshoring for manufacturing and supply chain professionals.
I joined an esteem panel of subject matter experts to share ideas on the latest global trends in supply chain management, nearshoring and LeanShoring™ developments, and lean manufacturing strategies. It was an excellent opportunity to network with industry leaders and gain valuable knowledge on how to drive excellence and efficiency in operations and understand the impact of nearshoring and tariffs.

Don’t forget, AME has a great learning opportunity coming up in May: the AME Hampton Roads 2025 Lean Summit. The AME Southeastern Board is beyond thrilled to welcome you to Newport News, VA, from May 6-8, 2025. Get ready to make waves and set the standard for excellence.
This year’s summit is packed with two inspiring keynote presentations, multiple hands-on workshops, and a variety of tours — all centered around setting the standard for operational excellence. We're focusing on how to win, how to work and how to sustain the standard.
You will have the chance to network with top-tier professionals and gain insights from exemplary practices in healthcare, manufacturing and office environments. Whether you're in operations, a continuous improvement professional or a frontline leader, this event is tailor-made for you.
And let's not forget the vibrant location — Newport News is home to Newport News Shipbuilding, the only shipyard in the U.S. capable of building nuclear-powered aircraft carriers and one of two that build nuclear-powered submarines for the U.S. Navy.
It's not just about the summit, it's about experiencing rich history, stunning waterfront and endless attractions.
As always, please stay safe and keep looking out for one another.
