I would like to thank Michael Eaton, executive director of the Missouri Association of Manufacturers, for inviting AME to join him at the Midwest Manufacturers Trade Show and Conference last month. It was a dynamic event that brought together industry leaders, manufacturers, suppliers and innovators from across the state. The trade show provided an ideal platform for networking, knowledge-sharing, and showcasing the latest advancements in manufacturing.
We had the opportunity to explore a diverse range of exhibits featuring innovative machinery, automation technologies and sustainable manufacturing solutions. The event also included insightful panel discussions, keynote presentations from industry experts and hands-on demonstrations of new products and processes.
One of the highlights was the opportunity for AME to connect with potential partners, suppliers and clients, fostering valuable collaborations within Missouri’s manufacturing sector. MAM and AME are collaborators and partners, as we share the same passion for a true and sustainable manufacturing renaissance.
I also enjoyed meeting Rudy Ruettiger, whose story was captured in the movie, "Rudy." This movie is about a young man who dreams of playing football for Notre Dame despite his small stature and academic struggles.
We also had the opportunity to meet Mike Kehoe, the governor of Missouri, who is an advocate of manufacturing.
