You can offer a presentation or a workshop or even open your doors for a tour, but space is limited! Check out the details below, and submit your proposal today. Although we've detailed the types of programming we offer at the conference below, we encourage thought leaders to submit content ideas, and we will work with you on the format. Please review the program themes and submit your presentation, workshop or tour proposal through the appropriate link.

This theme focuses on shaping the future workforce through inclusive talent strategies, fostering innovation-driven cultures, and building resilience in teams. It emphasizes advancing diverse and collaborative ideas, retaining top talent and managing the human side of change. Potential presenters are encouraged to share insights, strategies and success stories that empower individuals and teams to thrive in today’s dynamic environments while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Shaping the futurist lean organization and operation
This theme explores how organizations can optimize the future of human-technology interactions to enhance cost management, supply chain efficiency, quality, speed, accuracy and customer service. It focuses on pivoting toward a digital future for operational success, leveraging humans and technology to solve complex, multi-factor challenges, and designing organizations for employee success using AI and data. Potential presenters are invited to share forward-thinking strategies and innovative practices that drive operational excellence and prepare organizations for the challenges of tomorrow.
Building operational excellence foundation for the future
This theme focuses on the essential practices and tools that drive continuous improvement and position organizations for long-term success. Explore how to optimize processes by reducing waste and variation to achieve cost efficiency, build quality and precision into workflows and scale capacity to meet future demands. Presenters are encouraged to share strategies for driving excellence through future-ready tools and deploying strategic initiatives using Hoshin Kanri principles to create a robust foundation for operational excellence.
Innovating for tomorrow: AI, technology and social responsibility
This theme explores the transformative power of technology and its role in creating a sustainable future. Dive into how AI is revolutionizing manufacturing, fortifying cybersecurity, and driving smarter decision-making through big data. Presenters are encouraged to showcase innovative approaches to tackling environmental challenges, championing sustainability in processes and products, and advancing socially responsible practices that shape a better tomorrow.

Tours
Tour hosts open their facility doors to conference participants to showcase their best practices and leading-edge lean and continuous improvement solutions. As part of AME's approval process, our best practice tour committee will want to visit your facility to audit your submission. Your tour must:
- Provide you lean journey story: problem identification, lean tool selection, success verification and innovative applications.
- Share examples of leadership that drove outcomes.
- Help inspire others towards world-class competitiveness.
- Be aligned with one or more of the program themes.
- Support AME’s conference goals and adhere to the established code of ethics.
Workshops
Our pre-conference workshops allow conference participants to take a deep dive into a topic. Workshops are an additional fee and may be offered by consultants. Your workshop must:
- Be four, six or eight hours in length.
- Be interactive (e.g. simulations) and include specific takeaways that participants can apply in their job.
- Help inspire others toward world-class competitiveness.
- Be aligned with one or more of the program themes.
- Support AME’s conference goals and adhere to the established code of ethics.
Presentations
Your presentation must:
- Be offered by a practitioner with proven, real-world results (no consultants.)
- Be 45-minutes in length.
- Provide your lean journey story: problem identification, loan tool selection, success verification and new knowledge and cutting-edge application results.
- Help inspire others towards world-class competitiveness.
- Be aligned with one or more of the program themes.
- Support AME’s conference goals and adhere to the established code of ethics.
Interactive Sessions
Interactive sessions focus on prominent issues facing our members. As an interactive session leader, you may introduce a topic, but the goal is to facilitate a discussion among conference participants rather than present to them. Interactive session presenters are invited to participate by the program committee. The sessions must:
- Be led by a facilitator who spends less than 20 percent of the time talking and more than 80 percent of the time engaging the participants in discussion and meaningful dialogue.
- Be led by practitioners who have actually achieved results.
- Be an interactive/in-depth topic of special interest to conference participants
- Be aligned with one or more of the program themes.
- Support AME’s conference goals and meet its code of ethics.
Code of Ethics
The conference provides a unique, non-commercial forum for open dialogue and the creative exchange of ideas among professionals in business and industry. Consequently, every activity and program must represent the highest standards of decorum, respect, mutual understanding and conscientious adherence to ethical principles on the part of all participants. Under no circumstances should presentations be used for direct promotion of a speaker’s product, service or monetary self-interest. Individuals should refrain from the use of brand names and specific product endorsement whenever practical. Use caution when discussing products. Presentations are subject to libel, slander and antitrust laws.
All presenters must refrain from statements or humor that disparages the rightful dignity and social equity of any individual or group; this includes the use of racial and gender stereotypes. All defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal materials are strictly prohibited. The conference is open to all persons, regardless of race, national origin, sex, age, physical impairment, and social, political, economic or religious views. As a presenter, the discussion of personal political views during your presentation at the conference is prohibited. AME strives to foster an inclusive environment focused on the exchange of professional insights and knowledge. This includes any political views, religious beliefs, or opinions that are not directly related to the topic of the event. Instances involving non-compliance with these guidelines or breach of the standing Code of Ethics should be referred to either the conference chair or AME President/CEO.
