Messier-Bugatti USA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Messier-Bugatti-Dowty division of the Safran Corporation, is a leading manufacturer of aircraft wheel and braking systems. It began operations in Walton, KY in 1999 with the start-up of a carbon brake disk plant. The company later expanded to better serve its customers in the aircraft manufacturing industry as well as the airlines and the flying public, adding a wheels and brakes assembly plant at Walton.
