Overview

The pace of organizational change is increasing. Unfortunately, most change activities fail to deliver anticipated results. Unlock the secrets of managing change with Lynn Kelley. The session includes practical examples from Kelley’s experience as a transformative leader reporting to the chairman and CEO at two Fortune 200 companies. With her warm, personal style, Kelley candidly describes what to do in tough, real-world situations. Examples are given from a lean initiative encompassing 42,000 employees at Union Pacific Railroad, as well as additional types of change at Textron.

The interactive session focuses on the two primary reasons organizational change fails: lack of effective communication and leadership support. Participants will reflect on their own experiences and work individually and in groups to identify ways to mitigate the risk of failure in these two critical areas. Participants will be given access to the free Change Questions digital workbook. After the course, the digital workbook can be used to successfully lead organizational change at the attendees’ own organizations.

Please note: Please bring your fully charged laptop to access the digital workbook the facilitator will provide.
