Overview
This session will cover common road blocks for companies going lean and how to avoid them. You'll hear how to align departments under a North Star and develop a kaizen platform to drive key metrics. Plus, the session will explain cost deployment initiatives and how they support a long lasting lean culture. You'll also experience how to increase vision of international supply chain and performance based accountability and define "automation” and how to implement it.
Presenter: Daniel Zepeda
Daniel Zepeda is continuous improvement engineer at Timberline Manufacturing. Previously, Zepeda served in the U.S. Marine Corp 4th Mtn Logistics Battalion and learned about TIMWOOD and Process Improvement. He went on to work for LeanCor logistics where he honed his skills in industrial engineering and earned his first green belt in 2010. From there, Zepeda went to work in a 3 million square foot facility where he introduced new production systems and defined work organization.
