Presenter: Mark Preston

Mark Preston is president/CEO of Lean Applications and has been driving change in manufacturing, office and sales environments for 30+ years. Previously, during his 11 years with TDK Electronics, he studied kaizen manufacturing techniques in Japan. After TDK, he held various roles at Respironics Inc., where accomplishments included leading the lean layout of a new Georgia facility, the creation of a new structured purchasing organization, and improving the supply base. Preston later became the vice president of Acuity Business System at Acuity Brands Lighting where he led the deployment of lean in the Acuity supply chain for 16 plants, 5 distribution centers and 14 supplier development programs. Preston’s book, “Southern Sensei," has helped companies with practical applications.
