John Biuso has held numerous positions including value stream leader, continuous improvement manager, and operations manager. He joined Corning Incorporated as its lean program manager responsible for leading deployment of lean throughout the company. Biuso holds a BSIE from University at Buffalo, is a certified black belt in six sigma quality, and received certification in Production and Inventory Management from APICS. He has experience as a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award examiner and an AME Excellence Award examiner. He has served as an Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) Rochester Chapter board member and served on the AME Mid-Atlantic Region board. Biuso is currently an adjunct professor at St. John Fisher College in Rochester NY, teaching lean leadership in its MBA program.
