This session will introduce the concept of a digital twin with the context of production operations. The digital twin concept is an integrating technology that ingests and organizes data to create new transformative capabilities for operations. We will explore the concept and discuss how it might enable a lean production system.

Rob Lisle is the director for operational excellence at Atkins Nuclear Secured, a member of the SNC-Lavalin group. previously he worked for Newport News Shipbuilding, Huntington Ingalls Industries, and Northrop Grumman. He holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
