- People-centric leadership
This full-day workshop highlights the "head" and the "heart" in leadership, teaching the role emotional intelligence plays in leadership success.
Overview
According to a Harvard Business Review study, on average, managers receive leadership training ten years after they begin supervising people. If connecting with and motivating a workforce that spans multiple generations is one of your challenges, this workshop is for you. If you struggle with turnover and retention, this workshop can help. Developing a strong and impactful leadership culture is a key component of a healthy organization.
This workshop highlights to leaders that engaging the "head" — the business outcome of the conversation — is just as critical as recognizing and addressing the "heart" — people's feelings such as feeling respected or appreciated. Leaders will recognize the role of emotional intelligence in success as a leader as they develop foundational leadership skills.
This workshop helps leaders:
- Conduct powerful conversations that achieve the intended business goals.
- Tailor their communication and respond in ways that meet team members' and others' unique personal needs.
- Deftly recognize and react to emotions (their own and others) present in work situations.
- Use a technique to provide meaningful, supportive feedback.
