In this interactive session, Bhavana Bartholf will provide a deeper dive into why inclusion is critical for organizations to be able to embrace disruption and foster innovation. In addition to sharing strategies for self-advocacy and sponsorship for people striving for parity in their organizations, she will respond candidly to questions relating to DE&I in an informal, facilitated Q&A session.

Presenter

Bhavana Bartholf ian award-winning leader and sought-after expert in providing vision and accelerating digital transformation for corporations across industries worldwide. Throughout her career, she has served as a customer-focused, transformational leader, innovative technologist, STEM advocate, and ally for women and racial/ethnical minorities (REM). She has a proven track record for building high-performing organizations with a focus on growing the female/REM workforce and is dedicated to driving systemic change to create inclusive work environments.

In 2022, Bartholf was recognized by Success Magazine as “Women of Influence” and The Charlotte Business Journal Women in Business Achievement Award's 25 Outstanding Women. In 2021, Bartholf was recognized by the National Diversity Council as one of the Top 100 Women in Technology (2021) and was named one of the 2021 “Power 50” Women in Leadership. Diversity Journal also named her one of the 2021 Women Worth Watching in Profiles.

As the chief analytics and innovation officer at Bank of America, she leads the end-to-end delivery of data, analytics, personalization enablement and marketing operations to unlock the value in data to drive transformation and accelerate innovation to benefit the business and its customers. Previously, she has over a 20-year diverse career with Microsoft across its customer success, sales, marketing, consulting and support businesses. Bartholf currently serves on the board of WEX Inc and the North Carolina State College of Engineering foundation. She has also served for six years on the board of The Gift of Adoption, a non-profit that provides adoption assistance through grants.

Bartholf holds a master’s degree in engineering from North Carolina State University and a bachelor's degree in math, physics and manufacturing engineering (triple major) from India. Today, she is a director on the board of NC State College of Engineering. She and her husband, Matt Bartholf, reside in Charlotte, North Carolina, with their three children.
