Overview

We face challenges and problems to solve in our everyday tasks at work. However, we don’t have to solve those problems on our own. We may not recognize it, but we are surrounded by people that can help us achieve success. In this session, we will discuss the power of undercover teamwork! We will define who our secret TEAMs are and how they can help us overcome any challenge that comes across our desk. Our TEAM will change as the challenges change, not just at work but in our personal lives as well. Determine who to point out and say, “You are on my TEAM” from the lessons learned, and you will recognize the power of undercover teamwork!

Presenter

Ryan Jenkins serves as an electrical engineer at HII-Newport News Shipbuilding. With over 20 years of experience, Jenkins has demonstrated his capabilities in roles such as programmable logic controller (PLC) programmer, field service engineer and senior engineer. He has led teams to successfully design and deliver communication systems to the Navy for the carrier program and served as project manager over structural assemblies for the submarine program. Jenkins graduated from Old Dominion University with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and has been a celebrated member of Toastmasters International.
