Overview

This presentation reimagines the traditional concept of Leader Standard Work (LSW) by presenting it as a powerful tool for driving cultural change within an organization beyond the conversion of batch and queue production to flow production. The presentation delves deeply into three essential elements of culture—artifacts, espoused values, and underlying beliefs and assumptions. By analyzing these elements, leaders can better understand how their actions influence organizational culture.

This presentation also introduces a framework with three levels of reflection that leaders can use to assess their own effectiveness in promoting and sustaining cultural transformation. These reflections focus on doing things right, doing the right thing, and determining what is right. This structured approach offers leaders a way to systematically evaluate their role in shaping the workplace environment.

Additionally, this  presentation highlights a lesser-known but proven method for gaining actionable clarity on how to use LSW effectively through the Harada Method, specifically the open window 64 chart. By leveraging this powerful, proven, and practical method, leaders are inspired to think critically about what specific elements they can incorporate into their LSW based on their unique organizational needs. The goal is to help leaders create a roadmap for embedding cultural values into everyday routines, driving consistent and meaningful transformation.
