6S (also known as 5S) is a simple low-cost high impact lean methodology. Many organizations try to implement 6S and after initial success, see their 6S program degrade or fail completely. Learn the basics of 6S implementation via a unique and simple simulation to teach and train with, and take away some tips and tricks to make 6S stick.

Kurt Johnson, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

Kurt Johnson is a lean six sigma black belt. He has been an AME north east regional board member for over ten years and has facilitated at several AME international conferences. Kurt has worked at several well known New England based manufacturing companies teaching, training, and implementing lean and six sigma since 2006. Kurt is a self-proclaimed “lean geek” and enjoys learning and sharing lean knowledge and experience.
